There isn’t much difference between the traditional styled slots offered by EGT which is why I prefer the Xtra Hot slot machine from Novomatic, however I do enjoy the animations when you land winning combinations as fire erupts across them in true flaming fashion.

The ‘Hot’ series are fruit (and flame!) based slots from EGT that share common game-play features and design. There are many in this series, including Burning Hot, 20 Super Hot and 5 Dazzling Hot. These games appeal to players who prefer the traditional slots game play in a 5 reel format – without the interruptions for bonus games or video clips. While the symbols are retro (fruits are the main ones), the design of these is not – with vivid colours and detailed shading in place. The main attraction of Flaming Hot is the ability to win 20,000 coins from a single spin in regular play (via the scatter symbols). This game also has the EGT progressive jackpot system in place, which can be triggered randomly at any time.
This slot has a plain black background and brown shading behind the reels. Many of the symbols are stacked (appearing multiple times in a row) which brings out the bold colours. There are many of the traditional fruit symbols on the reels, including the famous cherries, melon slices and grapes. Alternative fruits including an apple (which looks a lot like a tomato) and a bunch of bananas are also used. There is also a BAR symbol, a dollar sign and a red seven which together brighten up the reels considerably.
When you hit a winning combination, you will get a sound effect (depending on the size of your win) and the standard ‘hot’ slots animation.
